This romantic, rustic, Millcroft Inn winter wedding was absolutely enchanting. It was a foggy winter day in January, and the mild weather encouraged the couple to proceed with their original plan, an outdoor ceremony. It was brave, and lovely, and simply magical. Winter weddings are amazing, I mean why not? We live in a beautiful country, at any season, so why not take advantage of our natural surroundings, and embrace God’s creation. It was our first time at Millcroft Inn, and wow is all that we have to say. Its set on 100 acres of woodland overlooking Shaws Creek, built in the 19th century, a former textile mill. The Millcroft Inn is a lovely venue full of charm and history.
Nadia & Marty are lovers of photography, evident by the centrepieces, vintage cameras, all from the the family’s personal collection! One of them was Marty’s first camera. It was lovely to be surrounded by this family’s heirlooms. I really enjoy when couples incorporate their personal touch to their wedding. Wether it’s a personal collection, or handmade jam as favours, it’s great to get to know what people love, and seeing them share it with their family and friends. This Millcroft Inn winter wedding was simply wonderful, thank you Nadia and Marty for having us as a part of your day. Congratulations!

One of the vintage cameras the couple used as their centrepieces. There was a different one at every table, all from the family’s personal collection.
