Liz and Sam’s elegant wedding at The Venetian, was simply a dream. Cris has known Sam for a while now, and he remembers hearing Sam always talking about his Portuguese girlfriend, and how in love with her he was… So needless to say, we were not surprised when Sam called to say that they were engaged! You can view their engagement session again.
There’s a beautiful song by Jodi King, whose lyrics talk about a boy that knows there’s something missing in his life, and decides to “trade it in, a bike for a ring…”. That’s exactly what Sam did. He sold his bike to buy his girlfriend an engagement ring, how romantic! Liz and Sam had a beautiful ceremony at St. David’s Church in Vaughan. After the ceremony we followed the couple to their favourite spot in Woodbridge; a small ravine that offered breathtaking views. It was steep, but as you’ll see it was well worth the time it took to get down. Sam is an avid fisherman, so having his wedding photos taken by a small stream was simply awesome.
The reception was held at The Venetian, which was immaculately decorated and the menu complimented both the Portuguese and Italian cultures together. We all had a blast. All the guests especially enjoyed how the DJ played music from around the world, to once again include both their backgrounds. Thank you Liz and Sam for having us at your beautiful and elegant wedding at The Venetian. Congratulations, we wish you a life full of happiness and love.
