Sarah and Brandon had a lovely Crane Lake Resort wedding, and we had the privilege of photographing it. Surrounded by family and friends and the beautiful natural setting of Crane Lake, Sarah and Brandon said their I Do’s. They were able to rent all of Crane Lake Resort for themselves for their beautiful fall wedding. When planning your wedding at destination location, it’s a good idea to consider where your guests can stay overnight. A lot of resorts offer accommodation packages for weddings, and some even include brunch the next day for family and close friends.
Sarah and Brandon wanted an outdoor ceremony, and considering the views, I don’t blame them. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t cooperating, until the very last second when it cleared up enough for the ceremony to be brought outdoors. They had a plan B, it’s always good to keep one in mind, after all we can’t control weather! The same applies for the formal photos after the ceremony. During the planning stages is when you want to think about what will happen if it’s raining. The beautiful park setting you have selected, may not come through, or maybe you are adventurous, and don’t mind getting a little wet, for some outstanding photos. Either way, cover all your options, you don’t want to have to come up with an alternative on the wedding day.
Congratulations Sarah and Brandon, wishing you showers of happiness : )
