It was a beautiful fall day for this Cold Creek Conservation engagement session. Samantha & Mike are nature lovers, so for their pre wedding photos they wanted to be outdoors. It was our first time to Cold Creek Conservation Area in Nobleton, and we loved it. Samantha and Mike were looking forward to having some photos that represented their love of the outdoors, so naturally a conservation area was the definite option. This Cold Creek Conservation engagement session was an absolute pleasure to photograph, the sunlight was perfect, and of course Samantha and Mike’s love for each other was very evident.
You have all heard me mentioning how I love engagement sessions, well you’re hearing it again. I love engagement sessions; photographing them, hearing how they fell in love, and what their story is. But most of all, I love to share them with all of you. Cris and I were engaged for just over a year, and I remember it being a time of growing. We learned a lot about each other, what we liked and disliked, but mostly I learned that we actually wanted the same things, and others weren’t as important. I cherish it, as it was an amazing time for us.
Wedding planning can be a stressful time, so ensure you take time for yourselves. Enjoy each others company, to talk about your lives after the wedding. Your wedding should reflect who you are, incorporate elements that tell your guests a little more about that they may not have know about. For example name your tables all your favourite movies, or your favourite hockey teams, or your favourite travel destinations. Have fun with it.
Thank you Samantha and Mike for choosing us to photograph your Cold Creek Conservation engagement session and your wedding. Congratulations, we with you the very best, from the bottom of our hearts.
